For a hosting customer, the best experience is simple: pay, and the hosting is ready. For the hosting company, the best operations are the ones nobody has to do manually. WHMPanel connects billing to the WHM API so the whole lifecycle of a cPanel account follows the customer's invoices automatically.
From order to live account
- The customer chooses a hosting plan and checks out.
- An invoice is created.
- The customer pays online, or uploads UPI payment proof that staff approve.
- WHMPanel calls the WHM API to create the cPanel account with the package mapped to that plan.
- The customer receives an email with login details, nameservers and next steps.
This works at any hour, so customers who order at midnight are online immediately.
Lifecycle actions
- Suspend a service when a renewal invoice remains unpaid after the grace period.
- Unsuspend it automatically when the invoice is paid.
- Change package when a customer upgrades or downgrades.
- Terminate the account after a longer unpaid period, according to your policy.
- Change password and other actions from the admin panel.
Single sign-on
Customers open cPanel directly from their client area without entering a separate password, which reduces support requests.
Usage
Disk and bandwidth usage can be shown to customers and staff.
Safety
Every provisioning action is logged, so staff can see what happened and when. Failed actions are reported for staff attention rather than silently ignored.
Beyond cPanel
The Custom HTTP module connects other provisioning systems through HTTP calls, and manual modules let staff complete setups for services that cannot be automated.
